The Dahua IPC-HFW2441T-ZS is a 4MP IR vari-focal bullet WizSense network camera built for users who want motorized lens flexibility alongside deep learning-powered surveillance. Lens flexibility is a defining strength of the Dahua IPC-HFW2441T-ZS. Its motorized vari-focal lens adjusts from 2.7mm to 13.5mm, letting installers fine-tune the field of view remotely after mounting — ideal for covering anything from a wide entryway to a distant perimeter with the same camera. Combined with 360° pan, 0° to 90° tilt, and 360° rotation, the camera offers genuinely precise aiming control.
Night vision performance is exceptional here. With four built-in IR LEDs, the camera reaches a maximum illumination distance of 60 meters — well beyond most cameras in its class — making it a strong fit for larger properties and longer sightlines. Video is encoded through H.265, delivering a high compression rate and ultra-low bit rate, with Smart H.264+/H.265+ codec support adding further flexibility across different bandwidth and storage environments.
Resolution and frame rate offer solid flexibility too, with a maximum output of 2688 x 1520 at up to 20fps, or 2560 x 1440 at up to 25/30fps. A full 120dB WDR, 3D noise reduction, HLC, and BLC help maintain image clarity across varied and challenging lighting conditions.
Smart detection is powered by deep learning. The camera supports IVS perimeter protection, including intrusion and tripwire detection, both with accurate classification of humans and vehicles to reduce false alerts from irrelevant motion. SMD adds a further layer of motion filtering, and broad abnormality detection covers defocus, tampering, network issues, and more. A built-in microphone captures real-time audio alongside video.
Storage flexibility is a strength here, with support for microSD cards up to 256GB, plus FTP and SFTP options. Power flexibility is built in too, supporting both 12VDC and PoE, simplifying installation across different setups. An optional -ZAS variant adds audio and alarm I/O ports for integration with external devices.
Built for demanding outdoor use, the Dahua IPC-HFW2441T-ZS carries an IP67 rating, with an optional IK10 vandal-resistant rating available.
