The HAC-HFW1549X-A-PRO is a 5MP WizColor HDCVI fixed-focal bullet camera from Dahua’s Lite series, built for installations that need sharp, full-colour surveillance day and night. That means clothing colours, vehicle paintwork, and other identifying details stay visible after dark.
Detection range is a clear advantage of this model. With the 3.6 mm lens, DORI figures reach 78 metres for detection and 15.6 metres for recognition, giving it noticeably longer reach than comparable 2MP models. A 2.8 mm option is also available for wider 109.6° horizontal coverage where breadth matters more than distance.
Image processing includes 130 dB WDR, 3D noise reduction, and Dahua’s Super Adapt technology, all helping preserve detail in harsh backlit scenes such as gateways, loading bays, and shopfronts facing direct sunlight.
Built-in dual microphones with a 12-metre pick-up distance capture audio alongside video over the CVI channel, adding useful context to recorded incidents. Installation is straightforward too, with a single BNC port and DIP switch allowing CVI, TVI, AHD, or CVBS output selection to match almost any existing DVR.
