Each zone offers 255 adjustable sensitivity levels, so security teams can fine-tune the gate to their site. Nine alarm tones, ten volume levels, and a mute mode add further flexibility.
A 3.5-inch color LCD makes daily operation simple. It shows real-time environmental interference levels, and the gate can automatically search for the best operating frequency from 20 available levels. This helps the detector stay stable in busy or electrically noisy locations.
An infrared sensor reduces false alarms and supports automatic counting of passing people, pass and return numbers, and alarm statistics. Data can be searched by day, giving administrators a clear record of checkpoint activity. The Dahua ISC-D118 also stores separate parameter settings for 12 different scenarios.
Installation and upkeep are straightforward. The modular design allows quick assembly, and a safe low-voltage system runs from a 12 V DC adapter. An infrared remote controller with a 2-meter range makes configuration easy, while optional lead-acid battery support keeps the gate running where mains power is limited.
