K60 is a fingerprint time and attendance and access control terminal from ZKTeco, built for the small and medium business market. It combines dependable biometric verification with basic door control, so organizations can track staff hours and manage a single entrance from one compact device.

The K60 supports 3,000 fingerprints and 3,000 users or ID cards (1,000 when the optional SSR function is enabled). Its record capacity of 100,000 transactions gives administrators a long, detailed history of check-ins and check-outs before data needs to be downloaded.

A 2.8-inch TFT screen displays more information vividly than a basic monochrome display, including the fingerprint image and the verification result. Users get immediate visual confirmation each time they verify, which helps reduce repeat scans and queues at busy shift changes.

TCP/IP communication is a standard function on the K60, so data moves between the terminal and a PC within seconds. This suits networked offices where several terminals report to one central system. USB Host is also included, so attendance data can be transferred with a flash drive where a network connection isn’t available.

Access control is a standard feature on the K60. The terminal can connect to a third-party electric lock and an exit button, so one device can handle both attendance recording and door release at a single entrance.

Standard functions include ID card support, Work Code, Short Message, DST (Daylight Saving Time), Scheduled Bell, Self-Service Query, Automatic Status Switch, T9 Input, and 9-digit user ID support. Self-Service Query lets employees check their own attendance records, and Automatic Status Switch changes the check-in state on its own according to the shift schedule.

Optional functions include an external bell and SSR (Self-Service Report). An internal backup battery keeps the K60 running if power is suddenly cut, so attendance records aren’t lost during an outage.

The K60 runs on a DC 5V, 800mA power supply and operates at 0°C to 45°C and 20% to 80% humidity. For small and medium businesses that want networked fingerprint attendance and simple door control in one affordable terminal, the K60 is a practical choice.
