SenseFace 2A adopts the latest intelligent engineering facial authentication technology from ZKTeco. It supports fingerprint, facial, and card authentication with large capacity and speedy authentication, and it uses an ultimate anti-spoofing algorithm for facial authentication against almost all types of fake photo and video attacks, offering genuinely secure biometric verification.

The SenseFace 2A is an access control terminal featuring a video intercom function and support for the ONVIF protocol. It fully improves the video intercom experience and can be compatible with a video intercom indoor unit using SIP protocol (version 2.0) — a genuinely useful addition for reception areas or gated entrances where two-way visitor communication matters.

Biometric verification speed on the SenseFace 2A is genuinely fast: less than 0.5 seconds for fingerprint and less than 0.35 seconds for facial authentication, with touchless recognition working from 30cm to 200cm — a notably wide range that accommodates users of different heights without requiring precise positioning. Accuracy is strong, with a facial authentication false acceptance rate of ≤0.01% and fingerprint FAR of ≤0.0001%.

Capacity scales across two versions: the Entry Version supports 1,500 fingerprint and 1,500 face templates as standard, while the Standard Version offers 3,000 for both. Card and user capacity both reach 3,000, with a transaction capacity of 150,000 across both versions. Biometric performance is powered by ZKFace V4.0 and ZKFingerprint V13.0 (or optional V10.0).

A 2.4-inch TFT color LCD screen (320×240) delivers clear visual feedback, backed by a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, and either 512MB (Entry Version) or 8GB (Standard Version) ROM. A WDR binocular 1MP camera powers the facial recognition engine, supported by supplement light for consistent performance in varied lighting, alongside an 8-ohm 1W speaker and an omni-directional microphone for the video intercom function.

Besides its biometric strengths, the SenseFace 2A supports multiple communication protocols. Its firmware has AC push and can convert to TA push, making it compatible with various AC or TA software platforms. It can also switch to BEST protocol to link with ZKBio Zlink (AC module), giving administrators genuine flexibility in how the device integrates with their existing management software.

Communication includes TCP/IP, optional Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n/ax) at 2.4 GHz, and USB Type A for flash drive data transfer, along with dedicated interfaces for electric lock, door sensor, and exit button. Standard functions include ADMS, DST, up to 14-digit User ID, Access Levels, Groups, Holidays, Record Query, Schedule Bell, Tamper Switch Alarm, Automatic Status Switch, Multiple Authentication Methods, SIP Client (Version 2.0), ONVIF compatibility, and HTTPs/SSH backend access.

Compact at 205.20 x 74.19 x 33.30mm and just 0.258kg net weight, the SenseFace 2A is designed for wall-mount installation (compatible with Asian gang-box or single gang-box) and operates across a -5°C to 45°C temperature range with 20%-80% RH humidity tolerance. It’s powered via DC 12V 1.5A and supported by ZKBio CVAccess (AC PUSH), ZKBio Time (TA PUSH), or the cloud-based ZKBio Zlink platform.
