Dahua TPC-SDA8641 is a thermal network smart linkage camera designed for advanced perimeter protection and long-range surveillance. Featuring a dual PTZ structure with independently rotatable thermal and visible channels, this camera delivers powerful dual-sensor performance for both detection and identification tasks across large outdoor areas.
The thermal channel of the Dahua TPC-SDA8641 uses a vanadium oxide uncooled focal plane detector with 640 × 512 effective pixels, offering focal length options of 25 mm and 50 mm. With the 50 mm lens, the camera achieves perimeter protection coverage up to 350 m for human targets and 1,050 m for vehicles, making it ideal for securing expansive perimeters, borders, and critical infrastructure sites.
Paired with the thermal sensor, the Dahua TPC-SDA8641 includes a 4MP visible channel with 45x optical zoom and a focal length range of 5.5 mm–248 mm, enabling detailed visual confirmation once a target is flagged. Its smart linkage tracking automatically directs the visible channel to follow any target detected by the thermal channel, streamlining operator response and reducing missed events.
Illumination and alert capabilities further enhance the Dahua TPC-SDA8641’s usability in low-light and high-risk environments. The camera offers up to 250 m of infrared illumination distance, along with a built-in sound and white light alarm effective up to 200 m, allowing it to actively deter intrusions rather than simply record them.
Built for continuous outdoor operation, the Dahua TPC-SDA8641 carries an IP66-rated housing and functions reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. It supports advanced intelligence features including tripwire and intrusion detection, human/vehicle classification, and multiple tracking modes such as single-scene, multi-scene, and panoramic tracking.
