The U7 Long-Range features a compact ⌀175.7 x 43mm disc housing that mounts to a ceiling or wall using the included plastic mounting plate. It covers 160 m² (1,750 sq ft) per unit and supports 300+ simultaneous client connections, giving it strong capacity for busy commercial environments.
Performance is where the U7 Long-Range distinguishes itself from other compact WiFi 7 models. It supports 3×3 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz (compared to 2×2 on most other U7 access points) and 2×2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz, reaching a maximum data rate of 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz using 160 MHz channel bandwidth, and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Additional security options include guest network isolation, private pre-shared key (PPSK) support, WiFi speed limiting, client device isolation, WiFi schedules, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLAN.
Built with a polycarbonate and aluminum alloy enclosure and a galvanized steel (SGCC) mount, the U7 Long-Range weighs just 448g, keeping installation simple despite its enhanced performance profile. It operates across a -30°C to 50°C temperature range and is powered via PoE, drawing a maximum of 14W with a supported voltage range of 42.5–57V DC.
