U7 Pro is a flagship, ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point built for large-scale environments that need tri-band performance and genuinely interference-free wireless coverage. With 6 spatial streams and full 6 GHz band support, this model gives businesses access to a clean, uncongested spectrum alongside traditional 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands.
The U7 Pro features a ⌀206 x 46mm disc housing that mounts to a ceiling or wall using the included Pro Mount. It covers 140 m² (1,500 sq ft) per unit and supports 300+ simultaneous client connections, making it well suited for busy offices, conference centers, and large commercial venues.
Performance is genuinely tri-band, running 2×2 MU-MIMO across 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz simultaneously. On the 6 GHz band, the U7 Pro reaches an impressive 5.8 Gbps maximum data rate using 320 MHz channel bandwidth (BW320) — a speed tier only available on WiFi 7’s newly opened 6 GHz spectrum. The 5 GHz band reaches 4.3 Gbps (BW240), and 2.4 GHz reaches 688 Mbps. Antenna gain reaches 5.8 dBi on 6 GHz, 6 dBi on 5 GHz, and 4 dBi on 2.4 GHz, with full backward compatibility across 802.11ax (including WiFi 6E), 802.11ac, and 802.11n devices.
The U7 Pro includes a 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 uplink port to support its high wireless throughput, along with UniFi’s complete network management feature set: wireless meshing, band steering, 802.11v BSS transition management, 802.11r fast roaming, 802.11k radio resource management, advanced radio management, and Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) support.
For guest and public-facing WiFi, the U7 Pro includes a full captive hotspot portal with custom branding, voucher authentication, payment-based authentication, password authentication, and external portal server support. Additional security options include guest network isolation, private pre-shared key (PPSK) support, WiFi speed limiting, client device isolation, WiFi schedules, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLAN.
Built with a polycarbonate and metal enclosure and a stainless steel (SUS304) and galvanized steel mount, the U7 Pro weighs 680g. It operates across a -30°C to 40°C temperature range and is powered via PoE+, drawing a maximum of 21W with a supported voltage range of 44–57V DC.
