The Dahua P3D-3F-PV-P is a 3+3MP outdoor WizColor Wi-Fi dual-lens pan & tilt camera built for households that want full-color night vision alongside complete yard coverage. It pairs a fixed lens with a separate pan & tilt lens, delivering coordinated monitoring that keeps a constant wide view while allowing focused inspection on demand.
WizColor technology is the standout feature of the Dahua P3D-3F-PV-P. Paired with an F1.0 aperture lens, the camera captures full-color footage even after dark, described by Dahua as being “as bright as daylight.” This is a meaningful upgrade over standard black-and-white night vision, giving users much clearer identification of people, vehicles, and colors during nighttime hours.
Coverage is equally strong. The fixed lens (2.8mm) maintains continuous oversight of the outdoor area, while the PT lens (6mm) rotates through 0° to 352° pan and 0° to 90° tilt, delivering a complete 360° view with no blind spots. Smart detection runs on both lenses simultaneously, allowing the camera to flag relevant activity across the wide view and the close-up view at the same time.
Both lenses share a 1/2.9″ CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1296, encoded through H.265 compression, and support up to 120dB WDR for handling challenging lighting conditions like bright backlighting. Four warm-light illuminators extend visibility up to 40 meters, supporting the WizColor color night vision.
Security response is a key strength here too. AI-based human and vehicle detection helps the camera separate real threats from routine motion, cutting down on false alerts. When an intruder is detected, the camera triggers immediate alerts using both sound and light, actively working to deter unwanted visitors.
Connectivity offers extra flexibility: alongside 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, the Dahua P3D-3F-PV-P supports PoE (802.3af) power and quick account linking through either PoE or Wi-Fi, simplifying setup for installers who prefer a wired connection. Bluetooth pairing further speeds up initial configuration.
Built for outdoor durability, the camera carries an IP66 rating and operates reliably across -30°C to +50°C. Two-way communication runs through a built-in mic and speaker, and storage is handled locally via microSD card up to 256GB, managed through Smart PSS Lite, DSS, or the DMSS app on iOS and Android.
