The Dahua P5AS-PV is a 5MP outdoor fixed-focal Wi-Fi pan and tilt network camera from the Picoo series, designed to deliver sharp, detailed perimeter monitoring in a compact, weatherproof body. With smooth pan and tilt movement, it covers a wide outdoor area without needing multiple fixed cameras.
Featuring a 1/2.7″ CMOS image sensor, the Dahua P5AS-PV captures crisp footage at up to 2880 × 1620 resolution, offering noticeably finer detail than standard 3MP models. Its low-light performance, rated as low as 0.0007 lux in black and white mode, ensures usable footage even in near-total darkness.
Night visibility is a key strength of the Dahua P5AS-PV, offering dual multi-core IR and warm light illumination with a reach of up to 30 meters. This allows the camera to switch between infrared monitoring and full-colour recording depending on the scene and available lighting.
Smart detection adds practical value outdoors, where false alarms from moving branches or passing shadows are common. The Dahua P5AS-PV includes AI human and vehicle detection, along with automatic target tracking, keeping the camera focused on genuinely relevant activity.
Active deterrence sets the Dahua P5AS-PV apart from simpler models, triggering immediate sound alerts along with stronger red and blue lights when an intrusion is detected. This visible and audible response helps discourage intruders before they get closer to the property.
Communication is built directly into the camera, with a built-in microphone and speaker supporting two-way talk. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity delivers high-speed performance with strong resistance to interference, while Bluetooth pairing simplifies the initial setup process.
Built for outdoor durability, the Dahua P5AS-PV carries an IP66 rating and operates reliably across an extreme temperature range of -30°C to +55°C.
