The Dahua P8F-PV is an 8MP WizColor outdoor Wi-Fi pan & tilt network camera designed for full-coverage home and business security. It brings together 4K clarity, motorized tracking, and smart AI detection in a single weatherproof unit.
Built around a 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor, the Dahua P8F-PV records at up to 3840 × 2160 resolution. This 4K Ultra HD output goes beyond typical sharpness, revealing fine details like faces and license plates from a distance.
Unlike fixed cameras, the Dahua P8F-PV pans up to 345° and tilts up to 90°, giving one camera a true 360° view without blind spots. Automatic target tracking keeps moving subjects in frame, following people or vehicles as they move through the monitored area.
Low-light performance is a major strength here. WizColor technology, paired with an F1.0 aperture and four warm-light illuminators, keeps footage looking as bright as daylight even after dark, without relying on grainy black-and-white night vision.
Wi-Fi 6 connectivity ensures a fast, stable link with strong anti-interference performance, so video keeps streaming smoothly even on busy home networks. Bluetooth pairing makes the initial setup process quick and straightforward.
Smart detection is built in as standard. AI-based human and vehicle recognition helps the camera focus on real security events, while an abnormal sound alarm adds another layer of awareness. When a threat is detected, the Dahua P8F-PV triggers immediate alerts combining sound and light to actively deter intruders on the spot.
Two-way audio comes standard through a built-in mic and speaker, allowing direct communication with anyone at the property through the connected mobile app.
Engineered for demanding environments, the housing carries an IP66 rating along with TVS 2000V lightning protection, surge protection, and voltage transient protection. It operates reliably from −30°C to 55°C, making it a dependable choice for varied climates.
