G3 is a multi-biometric identification terminal from ZKTeco, featuring the company’s innovative Silk ID fingerprint sensor technology. With the world’s cutting-edge 3D Neuron Fingerprint Algorithm, the G3 precisely authenticates dry, wet, or rough fingerprints efficiently and accurately — a genuine advantage for industrial, outdoor, or manual-labor environments where standard fingerprint sensors often struggle.

Infrared technology enables the G3 to function automatically when fingerprints are detected, removing the need for users to press a button or wake the device manually. With the latest facial algorithm, the G3 also supports fake face detection, adding a real layer of anti-spoofing protection to its facial recognition capability.

The G3 supports 5,000 fingerprints, 3,000 face templates (1:N) or 4,000 (1:1), and 10,000 cards, with a transaction capacity of 100,000. A 4.3-inch TFT-LCD screen delivers a modern design and interactive UI, backed by a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU with 128MB RAM and 256MB Flash storage, alongside Hi-Fi voice and indicator feedback and a tamper switch alarm.

Special functions genuinely set the G3 apart from standard terminals: Multiple Biometric Verification Modes, Alive Finger Detection (guarding against fake or prosthetic fingerprints), and Duplicate Face Detection all work together to deliver outstanding performance and security even with dry, wet, or rough fingers that would defeat a lesser sensor.

Communication on the G3 covers TCP/IP, USB Host/Client, and Wiegand Output, giving administrators flexibility for networked deployment or integration with existing access control infrastructure. Standard functions include Work Code, WDMS, DST, SMS, Bell Schedule, Attendance Status Auto-Switch, Record Query, Photo ID, Custom Wallpaper and Screen Saver, and ID Card Reader support.

The G3 includes a genuinely comprehensive access control interface, supporting Lock Relay Output, Alarm Output, Exit Button, Door Sensor, and External Bell Output — letting it function as a standalone access control device alongside its core biometric identification role. Optional functions extend to HID/Mifare Card Reader, an external printer, WiFi/3G connectivity, a 2,000mAh backup battery, and PoE (Standard IEEE 802.3at) power delivery.

Biometric performance is powered by ZKFace V7.0 and ZKFinger V10.0 algorithms. At 199.2 x 171.8 x 96.9mm, the G3 operates across a 0°C to 45°C working temperature range and is compatible with ZKTime.Web, ZKAccess 3.5, and WDMS software.
