MB560-VL is a multi-biometric identification terminal from ZKTeco, featuring the company’s innovative Visible Light Facial Authentication technology. With the latest algorithm and visible light facial authentication technologies, the device recognizes a target at a distance of 0.3m to 2m — a notably wider range than earlier ZKTeco terminals — automatically activating when it detects a human face within range.

The MB560-VL delivers better authentication quality in both speed and accuracy compared to earlier near-infrared facial authentication terminals. A deep learning algorithm powers the recognition engine, with pose angle tolerance covering head rotation up to ±25° and tilt up to ±35°, meaningfully improving anti-spoofing capability against dynamic environments and various spoofing attempts.

Alongside facial authentication, the MB560-VL applies ZKTeco’s cutting-edge 3D Neuron Fingerprint Algorithm, with comprehensive support for mainstream card modules and optional WiFi connectivity — making it a genuinely versatile fit across different working environments and customer requirements.

Capacity scales across two versions: the Entry Version supports up to 3,000 fingerprints and 3,000 faces as standard, while the Standard Version offers 3,000 as standard with an optional upgrade to 5,000 for both. Card capacity reaches 10,000 (1:N), with a matching 10,000 user capacity, and transaction capacity of 100,000 (optional 200,000) — figures that place the MB560-VL well ahead of ZKTeco’s smaller MB-series terminals.

Biometric authentication speed is genuinely fast, at less than 0.5 seconds for fingerprint and less than 0.35 seconds for facial authentication. Accuracy is strong across both methods: facial authentication carries a false acceptance rate of ≤0.01% and false rejection rate of ≤0.02%, while fingerprint delivers an even tighter false acceptance rate of ≤0.0001% and false rejection rate of ≤0.01%, powered by ZKFace V4.0 and ZKFingerprint V13.0 (or optional V10.0).

The 2.8-inch TFT color LCD screen (240×320) is backed by a dual-core 1.0GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, and either 512MB or 8GB ROM depending on version, alongside a 1MP WDR binocular camera with supplement light, an 8-ohm 1W speaker, and a 16-key physical keypad running on Linux.

Card support covers ID Card (125kHz), IC Card (13.56MHz), and an optional multi-tech module combining ID, IC, and DESFire EV1/EV2 across dual frequencies. Communication includes TCP/IP as standard, with optional WiFi (IEEE802.11b/g/n/ax) at 2.4GHz, plus dedicated interfaces for an electric lock, door sensor, and exit button.

Standard functions include ADMS, DST (Daylight Saving Time), Work Code, up to 14-digit User ID, Record Query, Tamper Switch Alarm, Multiple Verification Methods, T9 Keyboard input, HTTPS/SSH backend access, Schedule Bell, and Automatic Status Switch. Optional functions extend to the card types described above and WiFi connectivity.

Compact at 170 x 138 x 38.55mm, the MB560-VL runs on a DC 12V, 1.5A power supply and operates across a 0°C to 45°C temperature range with 20%-80% RH humidity tolerance. It’s designed for wall-mount installation and supported by ZKBio Time, ZKBio CVAccess, or the cloud-based ZKBio Zlink platform, carrying ISO14001, ISO9001, CE, and FCC certification.
