K70 is a biometric fingerprint reader from ZKTeco for access control and time attendance. It pairs high-performance firmware with a compact design, and it has become one of ZKTeco’s most popular devices. It runs the latest ZKTeco firmware, which has a user-friendly interface and flexible user privilege settings for multi-level management.
The K70 supports 3,000 fingerprints (2,000 when SSR is disabled) and up to 10,000 optional ID cards. That is a large step up from smaller terminals in the same family, so it suits growing teams, multi-department offices, and sites where many people share one device. Its record capacity of 100,000 transactions keeps a long, detailed history of attendance and access events.
Verification takes 0.5 seconds or less per user, which keeps queues moving at shift changes and busy entrances. A 2.8-inch TFT screen shows clear visual feedback during each verification.
Communication is handled through TCP/IP and USB Host. TCP/IP suits networked deployments where several terminals report to a central system. USB Host allows data transfer with a flash drive where a network connection isn’t available.
Standard functions include a built-in Web Server, SMS, Automatic Status Switch, Self-Service Query, Work Code, T9 input, 9-digit User ID support, and DST (Daylight Saving Time). Self-Service Query lets employees check their own attendance records, and Automatic Status Switch changes the check-in state according to the shift schedule. ID/Mifare card support is available as an optional function.
The K70 works with ZKTime5.0 software, which lets administrators manage users, review records, and generate attendance reports from a PC.
The K70 measures 184 x 136 x 37.6mm and runs on a DC 12V, 1.5A power supply. It operates at 0°C to 45°C and 20% to 80% humidity. For organizations that need fast fingerprint verification, room to grow, and simple management in one terminal, the K70 is a practical time attendance solution.
