The HAC-HFW1239C-IL-A is a 2MP Smart Dual Light HDCVI fixed-focal bullet camera from Dahua’s Lite series, built for installations that need flexible night-time monitoring options. Unlike single-mode cameras, it gives installers a choice of illumination style to suit different environments and privacy requirements.
At its core is a 2MP CMOS sensor delivering 1080p resolution, paired with an F1.0 aperture lens. Minimum illumination reaches 0.0005 lux in colour mode and 0.00005 lux in black-and-white mode, giving the camera strong low-light sensitivity across both illumination styles.
Smart Dual Light is the standout feature of this model. It combines built-in IR and warm-light LEDs, supporting three separate illumination modes: Smart IR and warm light together, warm-light-only for full-colour footage, or IR-only for discreet, covert-style monitoring. This flexibility lets one camera serve multiple use cases, from open full-colour surveillance to lower-visibility night monitoring, with a 30-metre illumination distance in each mode.
Detection range benefits from lens choice as well. The 3.6 mm option pushes DORI detection out to 55.6 metres with an 11.1-metre recognition range, while the wider 2.8 mm lens covers 101.8° horizontally for closer, broader coverage areas.
Image quality is supported by 130 dB WDR, 3D noise reduction, and Super Adapt technology, helping the camera hold detail in strong backlight such as gateways and building entrances. Eight-area rectangular privacy masking is also built in, useful where certain parts of a scene need to stay hidden from view.
A built-in microphone with an 8-metre pick-up distance adds audio capture alongside video. Installation stays simple with a single BNC port supporting CVI, TVI, AHD, and CVBS output, so the camera slots into almost any existing analogue DVR setup.
Rated IP67 with an operating range of –40 °C to +60 °C and a metal front cover, the HAC-HFW1239C-IL-A is built for demanding outdoor conditions and supports wall, ceiling, and vertical pole mounting.
