Minimum illumination reaches an impressive 0.0005 lux in color mode, supported by four warm-light illuminators that extend visibility up to 30 meters. Combined with 120dB WDR, the camera handles challenging lighting conditions like strong backlighting without losing detail.
Coverage is equally strong. With pan rotation up to 345° and tilt up to 90°, the Dahua P8F-PV delivers a full 360° view of the monitored area without leaving blind spots. Automatic target tracking keeps the camera locked onto moving subjects as they cross the frame, whether that’s a person approaching the property or a vehicle in the driveway.
Smart detection adds real security value. AI-based human and vehicle detection helps the camera distinguish genuine activity from routine motion, reducing false alerts triggered by animals or shifting shadows. When an intruder is detected, the camera triggers immediate alerts using both sound and light, actively working to deter unwanted visitors rather than simply recording them.
Connectivity is built for speed and reliability. The Dahua P8F-PV supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11b/g/n/ax) at 2.4GHz with a transmission rate up to 229 Mbps, delivering strong performance and interference resistance. Setup is simplified through Bluetooth pairing, and the camera also supports ONVIF (Profile S, G, T), SDK, and CGI for broader system compatibility.
Two-way communication runs through a built-in mic and speaker, letting users talk directly with visitors or verbally warn off intruders from anywhere. Storage is flexible too, supporting microSD cards up to 512GB as well as FTP upload, with management available through the DMSS app or a compatible NVR.
Built for serious outdoor durability, the Dahua P8F-PV carries an IP66 rating along with TVS 2000V lightning protection, surge protection, and voltage transient protection, and operates reliably from -30°C to +55°C.
