U6 Mesh is a sleek, indoor/outdoor WiFi 6 access point built for businesses and homes that need strong wireless coverage without complex wired backhaul at every location. With 6 spatial streams and true wireless meshing support, this compact unit is designed to extend network coverage into spaces where running Ethernet cable isn’t practical.

The U6 Mesh delivers a compact cylindrical design measuring just 48.5mm in diameter and 159.5mm tall, making it discreet enough for wall or pole mounting in offices, hallways, or outdoor common areas. It covers up to 140 m² (1,500 sq ft) per unit and supports 250+ simultaneous client connections, giving it plenty of headroom for busy environments like retail floors, cafes, or shared workspaces.

Performance-wise, the U6 Mesh supports 4×4 MU-MIMO on the 5 GHz band and 2×2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz, reaching maximum data rates of 4.8 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW160) and 573.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). It supports the full range of 802.11ax, 802.11ac, and 802.11n data rates, ensuring broad compatibility across older and newer client devices alike.

Wireless meshing is the standout feature of the U6 Mesh, letting units extend network coverage to one another without a wired connection back to the main network — ideal for outdoor courtyards, detached buildings, or spaces where cabling would be costly or disruptive. The device also supports advanced roaming and management features including band steering, 802.11v BSS transition management, 802.11r fast roaming, 802.11k radio resource management, and advanced radio management, all working together to keep connected clients on the strongest available signal.

For guest and public-facing deployments, the U6 Mesh includes a full captive hotspot portal system with custom branding, voucher authentication, payment-based authentication, password authentication, and external portal server support. Additional security and management options include guest network isolation, private pre-shared key (PPSK) support, WiFi speed limiting, client device isolation, WiFi schedules, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLAN.

Built for reliable outdoor use, the U6 Mesh carries IPX5 weatherproofing and operates across a wide -30°C to 60°C temperature range. It’s powered via PoE, drawing a maximum of 13W, with a PoE adapter included in the box and a supported voltage range of 44–57V DC. The unit connects via a single GbE RJ45 uplink port and weighs just 400g.
